2 students of LASU Mistaken for Robbers and clubbed to death

A geology student of The Lagos state University, Mr Ifechkuwkude Gabriel and another student identified simply as Kazeem were killed at the Ajala Area of Badagry on Tuesday the 31st of July 2013 by local Vigilante on suspicion that they had been spying for robbers who had terrorized the area in Recent times. They were returning from visiting a female friend when they were accosted by the men of the local Vigilante on suspicion of Armed robbery and where beaten black an blue during which they died in the process. Eyewitness accounts stated that they where "Beaten nd humilated in the most bizzare and barbaric manner. The body of Kazeem, A muslim, who had been nuried according to Islamic rite will be exhumed for autopsy, while that of Mr. Ifechkuwkude has been deposited at a mortuary. A suspect has been arrested in connection with the case and in due will be charged to court.
