A 23 year old generator Mechanic, Vincent Ohuegbe allegedly bit off the nipple of a 9 year old girl in an attempt to rape the minor, it has been reported.
According to the prosecution, the accused house which also serves as his business premises is located at 131 Ibadan Street, Ebute Metta,
It was alleged that on Sunday at about 2:20 pm, Vincent invited the minor who was on her way to make her hair to his shop and covered her mouth before commiting the crime
The girl's mother discover this when she noticed a wound on her daughter's nipple while she was trying to bath the young girl.This was when she narrated the incident of what transpired between her and Vincent.
The matter was reported to the police and Vincent was charged on a two count charge of Unlawful assault and attempted rape to which he pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned befor the Ebute Metta Magistrate Court.
Vincent was later granted bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum who must privide evidence of tax payment to the court and must be gainfully employed.
The case has been adjourned to September 25.
