PHOTO : NIGERIAN DEFENDER OMERUO RETURNS TO TRAINING; JOINED CHELSEA FIRST TEAM

Kenneth Omeruo finally started training on Friday after
nearly four months out with a shoulder injury.
The Nigeria defender joined the Chelsea first team training
and posted a picture on his Instagram page on Friday
afternoon, saying "Finally back to training."

Omeruo dislocated his shoulder during Nigeria's
Confederations Cup group stage match against Spain in
Brazil, and underwent surgery when he re-joined Chelsea
on London.

He has been in rehab since, but has finally been declared
to fit to train.
Omeruo's return will be good news for Stephen Keshi, as
his Super Eagles prepare to face Ethiopia in the second
leg of their 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier, and then Italy
two days later.
The Eagles carry a 2-1 lead from the first-leg.
