Calamity struck, Monday morning when the Great Nigeria
House, a 15-storey building , along Martins Street, off
Balogun, on the Marina, Lagos Island was engulf in fire.
Fire started around 3am today
According to Rasaq Fadipe, a Director in the Lagos State
Fire Service, the fire started at 6:30 am, when fire fighters
from Onikan Fire Station responded.
The fire men are still battling to put
out the fire.
No live was lost as the building
housing many offices had not opened for business when
the fire started.
